Israel’s Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd., a global leading defense company, has signed a teaming agreement with ROMAERO, Romania’s largest government-controlled Aerospace & Defense Industry. The agreement was signed by ROMAERO CEO, Mr. Remus Vulpescu and Rafael’s CEO, Major General (ret.) Yoav Har-Even. The signing ceremony took place on Wednesday (May 16, 2018) and was attended by dignitaries from Israel and Romania at BSDA in Bucharest.

At BSDA 2018, General Dynamics representatives were not allowed to give interviews to the press but only provide the informations already available on the Romanian ministry of Defense's web site, following the instructions given by te ministry itself. So, Army Recognition simply recalls what the Romanian contract consists in.

The Signus 35V is an advanced, long-endurance VTOL Small Tactical Unmanned Aerial System (STUAS) designed and manufactured by the Romanian company Autonomous Flight Technologies. It comprises three to five aircraft in a system, installed on a one ground vehicle or platform, be it a shelter or not. It can be operated by a team of three people with fixed or portable terminals.

ACF Industrie is the French leading European manufacturer of rubber tracks conversion systems for 4x4 vehicles. Its main plant is located in Brasov. At BSDA 2018, ACF displayed a Dacia Duster 4x4 that had been converted in one hour into an extreme off-road vehicle for the gendarmerie (militarized police).
