These new vehicles will complete the versatility of intelligence units of the Dutch army in the new theater of operations such as Afghanistan.

The Electronic Warfare Vehicle Fuchs is deployed on the battlefield to collect information. They will also be able to quickly decode intercepted messages and send them to the containers for analysis by signals specialists before being sent to higher command levels. The sensor station mounted on a 19 meter high antenna mast is able to locate electromagnetic signals.

The new vehicles were delivered to the Dutch Joint Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance Command's 102 EW Company, whose mission is to intercept, locate, analyze and jam enemy communications as well as secure friendly communications.
