Army of Egypt takes delivery of KrAZ-63221 6x6 tactical trucks from KrAZ Company in Ukraine.
The KrAZ trucks manufactured under the contract signed with the MOD of the Arab Republic of Egypt were inspected December 10-11 in the manufacturer’s facilities. The contract between PJSC “AutoKrAZ” and the Ministry of Defence of ARE was signed in 2008 and was extended once again due to excellent performance of KrAZ trucks delivered to the customer under this contract.
     
The KrAZ trucks manufactured under the contract signed with the MOD of the Arab Republic of Egypt were inspected December 10-11 in the manufacturer’s facilities. The contract between PJSC “AutoKrAZ” and the Ministry of Defence of ARE was signed in 2008 and was extended once again due to excellent performance of KrAZ trucks delivered to the customer under this contract.
KrAZ-63221 chassis cabs (6x6) provided with the YaMZ-238D engine at KrAZ factory in Ukraine.
     

The vehicles have been inspected by the customer's representatives, officers of Egyptian Armament Authority Vehicle Department.

Inspected vehicles were the KrAZ-63221 chassis cabs (6x6) provided with the YaMZ-238D engine, the 9JS150TA-B transmission and the MFZ-430 clutch. The vehicles are provided with PTO attached to transfer case to power special equipment on the customer’s request.

Inspection procedure included checking trucks for completeness and compliance with contract specification and road tests. After inspection, Egyptian officers signed Certificate of Compliance and said about high quality of trucks and unique cross-country ability of Kremenchug trucks they could make sure after inspecting and watching contracted trucks to overcome test facilities at the proving ground of the company.

In the nearest time, PJSC “AutoKrAZ” will start preparation to shipment of trucks to Egypt.
