Ukraine armed forces has received 100 new armoured vehicles and main battle tanks.
Ukraine armed forces have received 100 armored vehicle and tanks, including BTR-4E 8x8 armoured vehicle personnel carrier, T-64BM Bulat main battle tank, 2S1 122mm self-propelled howitzer, T-64BV main battle tank, T-72UA1 main battle tank and BTR-3E1U 8x8 armoured infantry fighting vehicle.

BTR-4E 8x8 armoured vehicle personnel carrier
     

The BTR-4E is is a 8x8 wheeled armoured personnel carrier (APC) designed in Ukraine by the Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau (SOE KMDB).

In its base configuration, the BTR-4 is armed with a Grom weapon station whose armament – 30 mm gun, automatic grenade launcher, 7.62 mm machine gun and 4 anti-tank missile launchers is fully stabilized in two planes.

The basic version featuring ballistic protection against medium-caliber firearms weighs 17.5 tons. The basic version featuring ballistic protection against medium-caliber firearms weighs 17.5 tons. One version, can also be fitred with add-on amour, with this feature, the BTR-4 providing the highest level of protection, weights around 25-ton.

The main battle tank T-64BM BULAT is a heavily modified variant of the T-64B tank. Enhancements include more powerful weapons, improved mobility performance and higher protection level. The tank BULAT has entered service with the Ukrainian Armed Forces. BULAT is a further development of the T-64B tank by means of installing, among other things, multiple protection explosive reactive armor modules NOZH, these being supplemented by passive armor array, and more advanced fire control system 1A45 similar to that found on the T-80U, T-80UD, T-90 and OPLOT tanks.

The main armament of the T-64BM BULAT tank is 125-mm smoothbore gun KBA3 or 2A46M-1.
     
     
The 2S1 Gvozdika is a Russian-made 122mm self-propelled howitzer tracked armoured vehicle. The 2S1 is armed with a modified version of the 2A31 cannon which is also fitted to the D-30 towed howitzer.

The Gvosdika is compatible with all 122-mm munitions developed for the D-30 howitzer. These include fragmentation, HE-FRAG, HEAT, cluster, smoke and illumination projectiles. A total of 40 rounds are carried, usually 35 HE-FRAG and 5 HEAT. Maximum range of fire with HE-FRAG projectile is 15.2 km.

The main battle tank T-64BV is a development of the T-64B fitted an enhanced anti-radiation protection and add-on explosive reactive armour.

The main armament of the T-64BV consists of a 125 mm KBA-3 (this is the local built version of the Russian 125 mm 2A46M-1) smoothbore gun fitted with a thermal sleeve, fume extractor and automatic loader.

A 7.62 mm PKT machine gun is mounted coaxially with the main armament and the commander is provided with a 12.7 mm NSVT machine gun for use in the surface/air and surface/surface roles which can be laid and fired under complete armour protection.

The T-72UA1 is an upgraded version of the Soviet-made main battle tank T-72.

The T-72UA1 is fitted with new armour, the front of the turret is equipped with Nozh explosive reactive armor which provides protection against tandem warheads. The front of the hull is protected by the Kontakt-1 explosive reactive armor.

The T-72UA1 is armed with a with a 125-mm smoothbore gun including and automatic loader system for ammunition. This tank has also the capability to launch anti-tank guided missiles.
     

Ukraine BTR-3E1 8x8 armoured vehicle personnel carrier
     
The BTR-3E1 is an 8x8 wheeled armoured personnel carrier manufactured by the Ukraine-based Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau.

The hull and turret of the BTR-3E1 are designed with all-welded steel armour, which provides maximum ballistic protection against firing of small arms and shell splinters.

The BTR-3E1 is installed with a BM-3 Shturm turret system. The turret is fitted with a ZTM-1 30mm automatic cannon, and carries 350 rounds of ammunition. The ZTM-1 30mm gun can be operated remotely from inside the vehicle to reduce casualty to the troops.
