DEFEA 2021: Airport static display with combat helicopters and aircraft


From Tuesday, July 13, 2021, Athens will host the International Defense Exhibition DEFEA from 13 to 15 July 2021, with more than 300 defense companies from 21 countries. The event is organized under the auspices and in close cooperation of the Greek Ministry of National Defence (General Directorate of Defence Investments and Procurement) and the Greek Ministry of Shipping. During DEFEA 2021, combat helicopters and aircraft will be displayed at the Airport area of Eleftherios Venizelos.

DEFEA is a tri-services exhibition that will cover Land, Navy, and Navy topics. Parallel with the DEFEA international defense exhibition at Metropolitan Exhibition Centre a static display with military aircraft and helicopters will take place in the Airport area of Eleftherios Venizelos, for DEFEA’s visitors.

The static display will include the T-6A Texan II training aircraft, S-70B helicopter, AW-109S Emergency Medical Service helicopter, King Air 350C Emergency Medical Service aircraft, AH-64D Attack helicopter, NH-90 tactical transport helicopter, OH-58D Kiowa helicopter, and Cessna Citation Latitude business jet.

A shuttle bus will be available for transfer to the air static display, every 30 minutes from Lobby 2 from 10H00 AM to 16H00 PM.
