The Eurosatory exhibition confirms year after year, its uncontested leadership in land and airland Defence and Security domains. In 2016, the exhibition hosted 1 571 exhibitors from 57 countries and 57 024 professional visitors from 140 countries. 212 Official Delegations from 94 countries were present. Besides, there were also 713 journalists coming from all over the world, as well as 8 217 representatives of the armed and security forces from 103 countries. The exhibition also opened its doors to high-level experts, also called “Eurosatory Guests”. In 2016, 179 guests from 28 countries were present. The 2018 edition, to be held from June 11 to 15, at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre, will increase again this success and will confirm Eurosatory as the major exhibition for the players of this domain. Eurosatory continues its ascent with an unrivalled label of quality. In 2018, Eurosatory will innovate and improve the organisation of the exhibition. Two major changes : the opening of the hall 5B and a new live demonstrations area. The new hall 5B of 8,130sqm completes the indoor exhibition area of Eurosatory. The main entrance for people coming from car parks will be located at this hall. The entrances to the Halls 5A and 6 for people coming by trains through the esplanade will stay unchanged. IDEF'15, hosted 781 company and company representatives from 53 countries, 493 High-Level Foreign Delegates responsible for defence supply for their countries; 18 of whom were Ministers, 19 were Deputy Ministers, 6 were Chiefs of General Staff, 3 were Deputy Chiefs of General Staff, 8 were Force Commanders, 15 were Undersecretaries for Defence Industries and defence procurement officials from 76 countries and 1 International Institutions. In addition, 59.715 domestic and foreign professionals from 110 countries visited the show.
There had been 2.230 prearranged meetings among 23 high level procurement officials from Turkish Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces and General Directorate of Security, participants and foreign delegates. Within the scope of these informations, it was proven one more time that IDEF Fair was placed within the most successful and conspicuous organizations realized on the international platform in Defence Industry. |

IDET, International Fair of Defence and Security Technology, is one of the biggest shows of defence technology in Central and Eastern Europe. Exhibitors from ca. 30 countries present their products to international military delegations and professionals from all over the world. The first edition of SITDEF in 2007 raised great expectations which were fully fulfilled thanks to the hard work of the Peruvian Army and the Ministry of Defense of Peru. The aim of this collaboration was to promote the assimilation of new technologies and scientific development, in order to reach the technological level of the most developed countries of the Region. This first edition gathered 35 companies from 14 countries which believed in Peru. The venue measured less than 2,500 square meters.

Launched by the French Special Operations Forces Command under the sponsorship of the French Minister of Defense, the Special Operations Forces Innovations Seminar (SOFINS) is a new concept of event for the SOF community to interact with industry and to collaborate on the challenges, initiatives and way-ahead in delivering the most cutting-edge capabilities into the hands of SOF operators. The SOFINS is organized at the military Camp of Souge near the city of Bordeaux, with a large indoor and outdoor exhibition of military equipment especially dedicated for Special Forces members. LAAD Defence & Security 2017 will host 195 official delegations from 85 countries around the world. Special guests will include defence ministers and high-ranking officials from the armed forces in Latin America, who will be engaging in meetings with the exhibitors. The launch of the First Bahrain International Defence Exhibition and Conference (BIDEC) was held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and was attended by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of Bahrain Royal Guard and Chairman of BIDEC 2017.
The event, scheduled on October 16-18, 2017, is Bahrain’s first tri-service defence exhibition, covering land, sea and air. The event is fully supported by Bahrain Defence Force and will be organised by Clarion Events, the largest organiser of defence & security events in the world, with over 200 other events across different sectors. Tim Porter, Managing Director, Clarion Defence & Security presented the overview of BIDEC 2017 to the attendees. The briefing outlined the exhibition and how industry and military will be offered the best possible opportunities at BIDEC 2017, as well as some of the highlights that will be featured at the event. BIDEC 2017 will have a fully hosted international military VIP Delegation Programme that will include representatives from all over the world. It is expected that over 100 international manufacturers and suppliers of the latest military equipment, technology and systems will be present. With over 3000 international visitors expected to attend, there will be a Static Display Area within the exhibition showcasing the latest military vehicles and airframes. The Middle East Military Alliances and Coalitions Conference, addressing the biggest challenges in Bahrain and beyond, will also run alongside the exhibition. BIDEC will also host unique features which include Live Parachute Exercises, Shooting Range Exercises, Warship Display and Military Vehicle Demos. |
