Russia has said that deliveries of Pantsir-S1 air defense systems to Myanmar are on track despite February’s military coup in the Southeast Asian country. Myanmar and Russia struck the deal for the Pantsir systems in January 2021. Dmitry Shugayev, a Russian weapons official, said : "We will deliver (the systems) in line with the terms and conditions stipulated in the contracts".

American Rheinmetall Vehicles has signed a Master Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center (DEVCOM AC). The U.K. Ministry of Defence (MoD) has selected General Dynamics Mission Systems to provide an additional 30 CTS-6025 Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) Test Sets via a multi-million-dollar contract. The recent order, executed by General Dynamics Mission Systems’ U.K.-based distributor, Muirhead Aerospace, is based on the success of the 30 units that were delivered last year, bringing the total number of units ordered by the U.K. MoD to 60.

Russia’s Rostec state hi-tech corporation has delivered a batch of T-14 Armata tanks to the Russian armed forces, Rostec First Deputy CEO Vladimir Artyakov said at the Army 2021 international military and technical forum: "We have shipped upgraded T-90 Proryv tanks, a pilot batch of T-14 Armata tanks and continue the deliveries of Pantsir-S [NATO reporting name: SA-22 Greyhound] systems," Artyakov said.

During the parade to celebrate the 30th Independence Day of Ukraine (24 August), the first four T-64BM2 main battle tanks belonging to the 92nd Mechanized Brigade were presented, Defence 24 reports. According to the representatives of the Kharkiv Tank Works, the entire company of T-64 tanks is currently being modernized to a new standard, which will be used for operational tests. The tanks received a new communication and positioning system, a thermal imaging sight and a 1,000hp engine.

According to information released on August 23, 2021, the Australian Government Department of Defense has signed a $158 million contract with Australian infrastructure services giant Ventia to upgrade the current fleet of ADF (Australian Defence Forces) engineering vehicles, providing the ADF with a further 291 vehicles. These will include cranes, excavators, bulldozers, loaders, telehandlers, forklifts, graders, and rollers.
