In an unprecedented move, Israel might send its Iron Dome air defense missile system to Ukraine. According to an Ukrinform correspondent, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said this in an interview with Tara John and Rob Picheta for CNN on February 1. "Well, I'm certainly looking into it," Netanyahu said when asked whether Israel can send air defense systems to Ukraine. On 1 February, the European Defence Agency (EDA) launched its largest Research and Technology project to develop highly autonomous combat unmanned ground systems. The project, Combat Unmanned Ground Systems (CUGS), brings together nine member states and 28 European industry partners. With a € 35.5 million budget and running for 36 months, CUGS aims to define, design and develop a set of functional modules which will be mounted on to existing platforms. The final phase of the project will test full demonstrators for highly autonomous combat unmanned ground systems.

British Army’s 216 (Parachute) Signal Squadron, Royal Corps of Signals has taken the Multi-Mode Radio to Belize to test the full range of its capabilities on Exercise Mercury Canopy. The jungle provides a stern test for communication systems as the dense and moist vegetation absorbs radio waves and limits line-of-sight transmission. Also, like any electronic equipment, radios require careful handling and maintenance to protect them in hot and humid conditions.

According to pictures published on Social Networks on February 3, 2023, the German company FFG (Flensburger Farhzeugbau Gesellschaft) unveiled the facilities where is stored the Danish Leopard 1A5 Main Battle Tanks that will be donated to Ukraine. FFG will have 20 Leopard 1A5 tanks repaired and ready to ship to Ukraine within three months and another 20 tanks in six months.
