The brightest minds in the UK Defence industry are being encouraged to continue developing more battle-winning ideas to help Ukraine. Defence Ministers are calling on UK industry to accelerate the development of equipment for the Ukrainian armed forces, launching a £25 million campaign fund for the design and delivery of equipment to the country across the coming months.

According to information published by the International Press Agency Reuters on June 1, 2022, Germany has agreed on a similar tank swap deal with Greece to send BMP-1 IFVs to Ukraine as the one Germany reached with the Czech Republic to send Soviet-era T-72 tanks to Ukraine: Greece will receive modern German tanks and/or infantry fighting vehicles as a replacement for its BMP-1s given to Ukraine, German chancellor Olaf Scholz announced on May 31.

According to information published on the website of "Star and Stripes", on June 1, 2022, the President of the United States Joe Biden announced a new aid of $700 million packages of military equipment to Ukraine including the delivery of HIMARS weapon system able to launch guided rockets and long-range tactical missile. The aim of this new aid is to increase the combat capabilities of the Ukrainian army against the Russian armed forces' invasion of the country.
