TAG Executive Vice President, Beau Gailey, commented: “As a combat veteran, there is nothing more satisfying than seeing a team come together for a common mission. TAG is proud to join forces with Grey Raven Group (GRG) to address this critical armored military vehicle need. These vehicles provide a critical capability as the men and women of the armed forces protect the right to determine the future of their nation, on their terms”, a wording that leads to thinking Ukraine is the recipient nation.

TAG’s partnership with GRG ensures the delivery of these vehicles to support the nation’s armed forces’ overarching mission. GRG is best known for working with multiple defense manufacturers to address operational capability gaps and is appointed as the team’s subject matter expert for equipment analysis and product management support. The effort applied by the team is the perfect illustration of companies coming together to do what they each do best to ensure the end-user will receive the best available capabilities, and continued dedicated customer support.

Considering that the only ”armoured military vehicle” currently produced by TAG is the BATT UMG, one may assume this is the vehicle that will be sent to Ukraine. The BATT UMG is mission ready and is regularly equipped with military-grade surveillance and communications systems. The BATT UMG shares the same benefits of TAG’s BATT-X APC with its completely accessible engine bay and power pack which can be completely removed and replaced within 10 hours. TAG utilizes its 140,000 sq ft technology center conveniently located in Detroit Motor City to liaise with major OEM automotive manufacturers to ensure all modifications and modifications adhere to their strict guidelines set forth in their own manufacturing processes. This has allowed TAG the opportunity to work directly with Ford to complete a full RHD steering conversion utilizing Ford OEM parts for the 75 countries that need it.
