Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies business, introduced its OxyJump NG oxygen supply system for use in high-altitude jumps by parachutists. The OxyJump NG system's breakthrough technology enhances mission capabilities with a longer gliding distance, improves jumper safety, is easy to use and contains significant size and weight advantages over legacy systems.

The Hellenic Aerospace Industry has unveiled its new Archytas UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) for the first time to the public at DEFEA 2023, a defense exhibition held in Athens. The Archytas drone was financed and supervised by the Greek Ministry of Finance, with the cooperation of several universities, and is aimed at the design and industrial production of autonomous aerial vehicles.

At DEFEA 2023, a defense exhibition in Greece, the German company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) introduces a new technology demonstrator of the future Main Battle Tank (MBT) based on the LEOPARD 2A7, the world's most advanced main battle tank currently in production for Hungary, with upgrade programs in effect for Germany, Sweden, Denmark, and other countries.

Many may know Arquus better under its former names, Renault Trucks Defense, ACMAT and Panhard, although the company has now been present under its new identity for five years and Arquus has been present at the two last DEFEA exhibitions. At DEFEA 2023, a defense exhibition in Athens, Greece, the Polish company AREX WB Group in partnership with Prexer introduces the DJ-25 jammer kit mounted on a ZSU-23-2 anti-aircraft twin-barrelled automatic gun. The jammer kit is designed to disrupt and disable enemy communications and guidance systems, effectively rendering their weapons useless. DJ-25 jammer kit is added to the anti-aircraft gun as a self-protection weapon system and also an anti-drone weapon as well.

During a press briefing that was held on May 9, 2023, Brigadier General Pat Ryder, U.S. Pentagon Press Secretary confirmed that the Ukrainian armed forces did down a Russian Kh-47 Kinzhal nuclear-capable hypersonic missile by employing the Patriot air defense missile system. As a hypersonic missile, the Kh-47 Kinzhal is considered a non-interceptable missile by current modern air defense systems.

The Stryker M-SHORAD is an Air Defense Artillery vehicle designed to neutralize or deter low-altitude aerial threats, including Group 3 UAS, rotary wing, and fixed-wing aircraft.

Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles has signed a framework agreement with the Austrian procurement organization Bundesbeschaffung GmbH Wien to supply various logistics vehicles for the Austrian Armed Forces. Encompassing the delivery of up to 1,375 HX, TGS and TGM vehicles, the framework agreement runs for seven years. Potential order volume could reach up to €525 million.

On Tuesday, May 9, Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) from Germany signed a long-term supply contract with Greek company EODH for the key components in the area of protection for the 54 Leopard 2A7NOR plus the option for a further 18. KMW and the Greek EODH, based in Lakkoma - Halkidiki, announced that the long-standing and reliable partnership has become an eminent part of the Leopard family.
