The vehicle was recently chosen by the Australian army to replace the older M113AS4 tracked APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) vehicles.

According to Defense Studies, the Vietnamese Air Defense Force successfully launched its first S-300 missile, almost 20 years after the initial import of two S-300 PMU-1 systems from the Russian Federation. As reported by Breaking Defense on October 10, 2023, the DroneHunter F700 Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS), which is currently in use in Ukraine, has been recently upgraded. Day & Zimmermann (D&Z) announced on October 17 it has been awarded a 966,745,000 $ firm-fixed-price contract for the manufacturing, assembly, inspection, packaging and delivery of 155mm Modular Artillery Charge System M231/M232-series combustible cartridge cases. D&Z and Eurenco, through a previously announced partnership, will work jointly on the contract.

As of October 17, 2023, according to available information shared by Janes, the Japanese Ministry of Defense (MoD) has granted ¥16.8 billion (equivalent to $112 million) for the acquisition of ten Type 10 Main Battle Tanks and ¥15.1 billion (roughly $100.8 million) for the procurement of 16 Type 19 155mm self-propelled howitzers in its 2024 Defense budget.

Nexter KNDS on October 17 tweeted information about French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu visiting the factory where accelerated production of CAESAR 6x6 self-propelled howitzers is on the way. “Our teams were able to mobilize and demonstrate responsiveness to move to a war economy: the delivery time to the Forces for CAESAR guns was halved, and we managed to triple our production rate,” Nexter KNDS tweeted.

The Philippine Army has formally announced a re-equirement for 5,050 new Red Dot Combat Reflex Sights as part of its modernization efforts. These sights will be specifically mounted on newly acquired T4 Taurus assault rifles. This move is aimed at enhancing the Army's combat capabilities and is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2024 if all goes as planned.

As reported by the Moldovan Ministry of Defense on October 17, 2023, the National Army of the Republic of Moldova received two additional Piranha-3H armored personnel carriers through a donation from the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany.
