Santa Bárbara Sistemas, through its arms factory in Trubia, is engaged in the production of two important military vehicles for the Asturias region: the VCR 8x8 Dragon and the Chain Support Vehicle (VAC). The contract for the VCR 8x8 Dragon has already been signed and provides for the manufacture of 348 vehicles. The contract for the VAC, authorized last August by the Council of Ministers, is still awaiting finalization and aims to produce 394 vehicles in its initial phase.

AM General, the renowned American manufacturer of light tactical vehicles with a tech and engineering hub in Auburn Hills, is set to unveil three cutting-edge military vehicles at the Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA) Exposition. The Nigerian Army is now operating Tares armored vehicles after having just taken delivery of the new type from Saudi Arabia’s ERAF Industrial Company, Guy Martin reports in defenseWeb. ERAF was established in Saudi Arabia in 1996 and specialises in land, naval and power systems, including armored vehicles and remote weapon stations.

The Indian Air Force plans to receive the last two of five S-400 long-range air defense systems by the end of 2024, according to Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari. Under the proposed arrangement, Poland, a NATO ally that acquired Patriot missile defenses from the U.S. last year would receive America's advanced Iron Dome systems. In return, Poland would send some of its Patriot missile defenses to Ukraine.
