Elbit Systems announced on September 9 the unveiling of the ARCAS, a built-in computerized Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered system that interfaces with the rifle’s Electro-Optical (EO) sight, with a helmet-mounted eyepiece and with the rifle’s assemblies, providing soldiers with real-time intuitive actionable combat information. ARCAS transforms assault rifles into digital, networked combat machines enabling a step-change in the lethality, mission effectiveness and survivability of dismounted soldiers in both day and night.

Kongsberg Defence Australia has announced the achievement of a critical production milestone for the LAND 19 Phase 7B program, successfully passing Factory Acceptance Tests of the first two Fire Distribution Centres (FDC) for the National Advanced Surface to Air Missile Systems (NASAMS). According to Radomir Ralev in SeeNews, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems is in talks for the sale of Spike LR2 anti-tank guided missiles to Serbia, regional director Al Zaher said: "We are acting in Serbia together with state-owned defense products manufacturer Jugoimport-SDPR and we are working on the promotion of Spike LR2 rockets," Zaher said in a video file posted on the website of Serbian public broadcaster RTS on Thursday, September 2.

The countries of the Asia-Pacific Region account for approximately 50% of Russia’s defense exports, Dmitry Shugayev, Director General of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC), told Russian media: "China, India, Myanmar, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Malaysia are among Russia’s main partners for military-technical cooperation in the region. Russia's Igla-S (NATO reporting name: SA-24 Grinch) shot down the newest Chinese-made TY-300D missile during the Clear Sky competition of the International Army Games 2021, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD). "A Russian officer was the only participant of the competition, who shot down a TY-300D vehicle imitating a high-speed aerial target at an altitude of 1,500 m", said the MoD in a news release.
