On September 6, 2023, it was reported that Russia's future Infantry Fighting Vehicle, based on the "Kurganets-25" project, has undergone a significant redesign, particularly concerning its chassis. Roman Khromov, the Deputy Executive Director for State Defense Orders and Military-Technical Cooperation at Kurganmashzavod, stated that the new prototype differs considerably from earlier versions.

State-owned defence company Denel held a successful capability demonstration from 15 to 17 August 2023 at the Alkantpan Test Range in Copperton in the Northern Cape, showcasing the fact that the company is back in business. It also confirmed that Denel is still at the forefront of global technological advancement in the field of artillery and that it has recapacitated itself to be able to meet customer expectations in pursuit of world-class product offerings. In addition, the objective was to re-establish and grow the relationship with end users, the local defence industry and international partners, with the intent of getting closer to the niche markets.

During the MSPO 2023 expo, the DragonFly loitering munition was unveiled to the public. The rise of drone and loitering munition usage in Ukraine has sparked significant interest in UAVs from armies around the world, making it unsurprising to see DragonFly featured at the Polish expo.

During the MSPO 2023 expo, the Polish company Germaz introduced the AMRV G10, a multi-role armored vehicle. With its versatile capabilities, the vehicle is designed to transport 10 soldiers, serve as a convoy and patrol unit, and provide mine-resistant protection for sapper patrols.

The Piap Hunter Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV), equipped with an Arex ZMU-03 unmanned turret, is on display at the MSPO 2023 International Defence Industry Exhibition. The system is a collaborative effort between the Łukasiewicz Research Network - Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements (PIAP) and Arex. It is designed to provide situational awareness and protection for soldiers in various operational contexts.

At MSPO 2023, the Finnish company Patria is displaying its modular military vehicle, the Patria 6x6 armored vehicle, along with a range of military solutions that include logistics, intelligence, and surveillance capabilities, with a focus on highlighting its technical features. Among these offerings, the Patria 6x6 military vehicle stands out due to its adaptability, protective elements, and technical performance.

At the MSPO 2023 event, the Polish firm Macro-Systems is showcasing its new GNOM ground loitering munition, which is based on a mini-UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle). This four-wheeled kamikaze drone weighs 7 kg, including the warhead, and offers a maximum speed of 80 km/h with a control range of 500 meters. It features interchangeable warheads designed to carry the GX-1 DG family of warheads produced by the Polish company Bulma, a part of the PGZ group.

The German consortium Arbeitsgemeinschaft Nah- und Nächstbereichsschutz (ARGE NNbS), which includes Rheinmetall Electronics, Diehl Defense, and Hensoldt Sensors, has entered into a contract with Germany's defense procurement agency, Bundesamt für Ausrüstung, Informationstechnik und Nutzung der Bundeswehr (BAAINBw). The contract is focused on the development of a new short-range anti-aircraft missile system and a 30-mm artillery system. Both systems will be based on the GTK Boxer-wheeled armored vehicle.

Spectra Group, a specialist provider of secure voice, data and satellite communications systems, announces that it has broken into the Asian Defence market by securing a significant order of their award-winning SlingShot satellite communications system for the Indonesian Army via its partner PT Mora Armamen Perkasa.

The KIA Light Tactical Vehicle (KLTV), also known as the Raycolt Kia 4X4 or KM1, is currently being showcased at the MSPO 2023 International Defense Exhibition. Manufactured by Kia Motors in South Korea, the KLTV is set to be allocated to the reconnaissance units of the Polish armored and mechanized forces. Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak emphasized the vehicle's importance, stating that enhanced reconnaissance capabilities are crucial for battlefield success, as demonstrated in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

This autonomous robotic system, designed to offer versatility in military operations, is a four-wheeled platform with a maximum weight capacity of 900 kilograms.

The Polish Armament Group (PGZ) is showcasing its new generation of tracked armored Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFVs), the Borsuk, at the MSPO 2023 International Defense Exhibition. Developed entirely in Poland, the Borsuk is fitted with the ZSSW 30mm unmanned weapon station and armed with a 30 mm Bushmaster Mk 44 automatic cannon. The vehicle is a part of Poland's modernization efforts to replace its existing fleet of BWP-1s, a locally produced version of the Soviet-made BMP-1.

On September 6, 2023, the U.S. Army announced its decision to halt the ongoing upgrades of the M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tank. Instead, the Army has initiated the development of a new armored platform, referred to as the M1E3 Abrams, with the objective of addressing the evolving requirements of future battlefields, particularly those expected to emerge beyond the year 2040.

Kielce, Poland, September 6, 2023: In a significant move to bolster its defense capabilities, the Polish Army has announced its acquisition of the K2PL, a state-of-the-art Main Battle Tank (MBT) designed and produced by the South Korean Defense Industry. This advanced armored vehicle is a Polish variant of the renowned South Korean K2 tank.

Kielce, Poland, September 6, 2023 - In a landmark move at the 31st International Defense Industry Exhibition MSPO in Kielce, the Polish Minister of National Defense, Mariusz Błaszczak, with the esteemed presence of the President of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Andrzej Duda, has greenlit significant contracts for the procurement of the advanced NAREW short-range anti-aircraft missile systems.

On 5 September, the German company Diehl Defence announced plans to significantly increase the production of IRIS-T systems and their associated missiles. This move comes in the wake of the large-scale war initiated by Russia in Ukraine, which has led to a significant surge in demand for these systems. By 2024, Diehl Defence plans to produce three to four systems, and by 2025, at least eight. Missile production for the IRIS-T is also expected to triple this year, with the company planning to manufacture around 400 to 500 missiles per year starting in 2024.
