Airbus Group will have a major presence at the eighth edition of Defexpo Defense Exhibition India.
Airbus Group will have a major presence at the eighth edition of Defexpo India from 6 - 9 February 2014 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The Group, together with Airbus Defence and Space, and Airbus Helicopters will showcase a broad selection of cutting-edge products, technologies and services at the show (Hall 11, Stand 19).

Airbus Group is a global leader in aerospace, defence and related services. In 2012, the Group – comprising Airbus, Airbus Defence and Space, and Airbus Helicopters.

     
“Defexpo is an important land, naval and homeland security exhibition. The show provides an excellent platform to interact with customers and potential partners. Since, effective 1 January 2014, EADS has rebranded and reorganized to Airbus Group, this will be our first international show under the new brand,” said Yves Guillaume, President India, Airbus Group.

He further added: “We are investing in expanding our industrial and engineering footprint here because we regard India as a strategic resource hub for the Group and not just as a market. It is this message of partnership that we would like to take to our audience here via the show.”

Airbus Group comprises three divisions namely Airbus, Airbus Defence and Space, and Airbus Helicopters. While Airbus focuses on commercial aircraft activities, Airbus Helicopters (previously Eurocopter) handles all commercial and military helicopter activities. Airbus Defence and Space integrates all the defence and space activities of the Group from former Cassidian, Astrium and Airbus Military.
