The 50m system can be deployed by two men in six minutes and prevents ruts forming in the ground and military vehicles from becoming bogged down.

The Turkish Military has recently received a set of HGMS after investing £18 million in the technology.

UK-based FAUN TRACKWAY’s Vehicle Recovery Mats (VRMs) are made of the same durable aluminium matting as the HGMS and are used to mobilise vehicles that have become stuck in difficult terrain.

VRMs provide military vehicles with a non-slip surface so they can gain traction and be quickly recovered.

Other systems in FAUN TRACKWAY’s portfolio include several temporary runway products including the new Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Landing Mat and the Helicopter Landing Mat (HLM).

The firm is currently developing a new Aircraft Landing Mat for the U.S armed forces which is due to be launched later this year.

FAUN TRACKWAY’s products are used by over 40 armed forces globally and are employed in a variety of combat and civilian emergency-relief operations.
