These low-profile terminals ensure complete discretion for land forces in the theatre of operations, while allowing them to communicate from their vehicles on the move.

The terminals use active electronically scanned antenna (AESA) technology to offer superior performance, better coverage and greater availability in all circumstances.

Supporting very high throughput (13 Mb/s), Thales’s new Satmove Ka terminals also feature major new upgrades that eliminate the zenith keyhole so that they stay locked on to the satellite when it is directly overhead.

Designed for land, air and naval forces, Satmove Ka terminals incorporate all of Thales’s expertise in satellite communications. First trials are planned for the end of 2016.
