AxleTech is combining its expertise in electric vehicle powertrain systems and independent suspension technologies to develop a next-generation 5000 Series Electric Independent Suspension Axle System concept. The eISAS, as it is known, was unveiled at Eurosatory 2018, the largest international defense and security exhibition, in Paris, France.

Amongst its numerous leadership positions, Microsoft is a recognised world leader in cloud productivity solutions, and Thales is a European leader in Defence and cybersecurity. Leveraging these positions, they announced today the signing of a preferred partnership for the development of a cloud system for armed forces. This modular solution will allow armed forces to keep their sensitive data inside their own infrastructures.

The Israeli-based aerostat company RT LTA Systems Ltd. is participating at Eurosatory, and presenting its SkyStar family of aerostats, which includes the Skystar 110, SkyStar 180 and SkyStar 330. During the exhibition in Paris, the company discloses its current leasing agreement with the French army.

At Eurosatory 2018, the International Land and Airland Defence & Security exhibition in Paris (France), Belgian Defence Company CMI Defence presents the CPWS Gen. 2, its new concept of multi-role turret. This turret is designed to be used for multi-mission and multi-configuration. It's also a lightweight and protected weapon station.

At Eurosatory, the international defence and security exhibition in Paris, the sensor solutions provider HENSOLDT is showcasing its newly developed TRML-4D radar system for ground-based air defence for the first time. The 3D multifunctional radar, which belongs to the TRS-4D radar family tried and tested in operations on numerous occasions, ensures rapid response detection and tracking of approximately 1,500 targets in a radius of up to 250 km and at an altitude of up to 30 km.

Drone technology is advancing rapidly, bringing with it a raft of beneficial applications, whilst also creating the potential for a number of new and evolving threats to governments, homeland security, infrastructure and public safety. SKYLOCK has today launched its cutting-edge anti-drone system, which provides effective solutions against these threats.

Turkish Defense Company Otokar, a Koç Group company, has unveiled its TULPAR 105mm Light Tank for the first time at Eurosatory 2018, Europe’s largest defense industry exhibition that takes place in Paris (France) from June 11th and 15th. The TULPAR tracked chassis is designed as a multi-purpose vehicle platform in regards to users’ needs of diverse missions.

Water transportation takes a step forward with the unveiling today of a new 10,000 litre water container from GOFA Gocher Fahrzeugbau GmbH, a Chart Industries, Inc. company, on outside stand number E240 during Eurosatory 2018. The company has an inside stand in Hall 6 at HG650.

General Robotics – a company specializing in developing, manufacturing and marketing advanced robotic systems for Defense and Homeland Security – showcases the Pitbull, an ultralight remote weapon station with Anti-Drone capabilities. The Pitbull provides an ideal solution for detecting and tracking all types of drones during flight, enabling their neutralization and downing.

Esterline Corporation, a global leader in defense and aerospace technologies, announced today the unveiling of its new InSight HaWC and Mighty HaWC systems controllers at Eurosatory in Paris, in Hall 5A, Stand B437. The HaWC suite of rugged game-style controllers will provide impeccable, versatile performance for mission-critical applications for civilian, law enforcement, military, industrial and commercial markets.

35 years ago, Argus developed the first thermal imaging camera for the British Navy to allow naval-firefighters to fight on-board fires. Thanks to the Argus thermal imaging camera, naval-firefighters can find their way in smoke, move more easily through smoke-filled compartments, and thus optimize their intervention, the French company Ouvry said during Eurosatory 2018.
