BAE Systems has successfully demonstrated the safety and performance of its new Modular Bridging System to prove the bridge will remain robust and effective throughout its operational life whilst being subjected to the harsh conditions expected in military use. During testing, BAE Systems simulated more than 22,000 crossings of the Challenger 2 Main Battle Tank on the system. These have the equivalent weight of 121,000 double-decker buses.

According to a video released on Youtube, February 1, 2018, recorded at the Russian port of Ust-Luga near Leningrad. Russia could have started the shipping of first main battle tanks T-90S to Iraq. These T-90S seems to be painted with a desert camouflage which is not used by the Russian army.

Self-propelled antitank Khrisantema-S missile guns will become operational in the artillery unit of the Eastern Military District in Buryatia this year, the district said. In 2018 the artillery formation of the Eastern Military District deployed in Buryatia is scheduled to receive a batch of self-propelled antitank Khrisantema-S missiles," it said.

According to the Russian Company Uralvagonzavod, the latest modernization of the main battle tank T-90, called T-90M will enter in service with the Russian army in the next few months. The T-90M was developed based on the combat experience of the Russian troops in Syria.
