Description
The F6-GMC900 is a 4x4 tactical armoured vehicle designed, developed and manufactured by the WELP Group based in Germany. The vehicle is certified by the German ballistic laboratory (Beschussamt Mellrichstadt) since summer 2018 according to the VPAM guideline.
The F6-GMC900 is a new generation of ultra-light weight tactical armoured vehicle which can be used by security or military forces offering high mobility, protection and comfort for the team and is able to perform a full range of missions. The vehicle can be equipped with many tactical options like emergency roof escape hatch, leg protection, tactical lights and individually interior.
Model variants:
The F6-GMC900 is also available in higher or lower protection levels and different interior designs. The base vehicle can be a Cadillac Escalade or a Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon or a Toyota Land Cruiser.

The chassis has been redesigned completely by their engineers and adjusted and developed to accommodate the increased vehicle weight. The brake components have likewise been replaced by a higher-performance version.
The armored vehicle is available in different protection levels, up to the highest protection classes. Both the passenger and storage compartments are protected entirely, from the firewall to the tailgate. The roof and floor of the vehicle can withstand 2 DM51 hand grenades exploding simultaneously. The vehicle was tested by the German “Beschussamt”. The interior design of the tactical vehicle can be customized according to customer requirements. |
| Mobility |
| The F6-GMC900 is motorized with different types of engines. For example with the 6,2l EcoTec3 V8 Petrol or the 5,3 L EcoTec3 V8 Petrol. The engine type depends on the base vehicle. The engine of the vehicle is turbocharged and intercooled. |
| Accessories |
| The special options of the tactical vehicles are wireless systems, surveillance systems, emergency exits, protective shields and tactical lighting systems, leg protection, emergency escape hatch, gun ports or other required options. These are all made exclusively using high-grade, certified ballistic materials. |
