Opening of IDEB 2014 International Defence Exhibition in Bratislava capital of Slovak Republic.
Today opening of the International Defence Exhibition of Bratislava in the Slovak Republic which takes place from the 14 to 16 May 2014. This event is one of the most important in Central Europe and 165 exhibitors from 18 countries present their latest innovations and technologies of defense and security products on an exhibit space of 24.000m2.
     
Today opening of the International Defence Exhibition of Bratislava in the Slovak Republic which takes place from the 14 to 16 May 2014. This event is one of the most important in Central Europe and 165 exhibitors from 18 countries present their latest innovations and technologies of defense and security products on an exhibit space of 24.000m2.
The exhibition was formally opened by the President of the Slovak Republic Mister Ivan Gašparovic (R) and the Slovak Minister of Defence (L).

The current edition of the exhibition is held in the spirit of the 10th anniversary of the accession of Slovak Republic to the North Atlantic Treaty. The exhibition is even more exceptional this year thanks to its conjunction with the Central European Security and Foreign Policy Forum GLOBSEC within the new project “Central European Safety Week”.

Under favourable weather conditions, the exhibition will be ceremonially opened by MiG-29 and L-410 airplane overflight and parachute of the 5th Special Forces Regiment from Mi-17 helicopter.
