At IDEF 2021, Best Grup has chosen to showcase its Askar Tactical Urban Warfare Vehicle fitted with a Koralp remote weapon station. The vehicle is motorized with a V6 3.0 TDI (Euro 3) engine developing 310 hp (231 kW) coupled to an 8-speed automatic transmission. A self-recovery winch is a relevant accessory. The wheels are fitted with run-flat tires.

The range is set at 700 km and the maximum speed at 150 km/h, a somewhat puzzling top speed for a vehicle announced for an urban warfare role. The Askar can carry four crew members, plus one if necessary. The total weight including the RWCS is 4,100 kg, without some options. The vehicle can climb a 40% slope, drive on a 20% side slope, pass a 40cm vertical obstacle and cross a 1 meter-deep ford without preparation.
