ISOTREX Manufacturing was founded in 2005 by a dedicated armored vehicle manufacturing group of experts from Canada with over a decade of experience in the industry. The Specter APC benefits from this experience. The ISOTREX Specter - APC has been designed and built not only to withstand ballistic assaults but to protect the occupants against blast scenarios.

ISOTREX's Specter can be custom build in multiple configurations to fit with your mission. From border patrol mission configuration, peace keeping operations or rugged all terrain 4x4 ambulance, the specter provides a reliable and versatile armored platform.

The Specter - APC can be fit out with at least two types of engines: either a 4.0 L, V6, 24 Valve petrol engine, or a 4.2 L, 6 cylinders, in-line, 12 valve diesel engine. Both have a 5 speed manual transmission and a 180 L dual tank.

Specter APC is 5.2 m long, 2.1 m wide and 2.1 m height. In addition of the two crew members, six personnels can be board with a CEN level B6/B7 armoring level.

The standard equipment of the Specter - APC includes an automatic air conditioning system, six gun ports (two on the left, two on the right and two on the rear), a run flat tires, a ballistic steel-case fuel tank protection, a heavy duty front and rear ram bumpers, a roof mounted escape hatch and a rear view camera with display.

Optionnal equipement that can be installed are an additional AC for rear compartment, a roof mounted 360-degree turret with perimeter protection, a self recovery winch, an automatic fire suppression system, a navigation system, a blastek floor mat and a FLIR driver aid system.
