Raytheon Company completed a series of more than 1.700 rigorous wind tunnel tests on the newest, extended range variant of the combat-proven AMRAAM (Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile) missile. The testing is a major step in the missile's qualification for integration with the National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System, or NASAMS surface-based system.

Rheinmetall is emphasizing its role as a leading supplier of advanced soldier systems. The Germany-based specialist for security and mobility can point to several state-of-the-art solutions in this domain, including the Canadian Argus system and its even more advanced successor, the Argus New Generation. The Group also makes the Future Soldier – Expanded System (IdZ-ES) used by the German Army, including the advanced Gladius 2.0 version.

French Company ECA unveils its new UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle) dubbed Cameleon LG at IDEX 2019, the International Defense Exhibition in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. ECA Group designs & offers a wide range of unmanned robotic systems, fully integrated and answering the needs for innovative and effective tools at sea, on land and in the air in the field of Defence and Security.

Historical leader of armed forces mobility, Arquus presents at IDEX one of the jewels of its Medium armored vehicles: the Fortress. The Fortress is a proven vehicle of choice which is constantly being perfected to suit the most demanding units’ needs. The Fortress is already serving in various Special Forces units all around the world.

Northrop Grumman Corporation showcases a variety of its defense technologies for land, air and sea-based platforms, as well as its military and commercial satellite technologies, at the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) 2019, Feb. 17-21, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. Northrop Grumman is exhibiting at booth 03-A04.

Oshkosh Defense, LLC, an Oshkosh Corporation company, is showcasing the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle’s (JLTV) combat effectiveness against battlefield threats. Designed using lessons learned from the Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) All-Terrain Vehicle (M-ATV), the JLTV platform provides MRAP-level protection to mitigate the most prevalent threats while delivering best-in-class off-road mobility in a highly transportable package.

Otokar, a Koç Group Company, with over 30 years of experience in military vehicles, participates in IDEX 2019. Within its wide product range, Otokar displays its ARMA 6x6 with BOZOK turret, and COBRA II 4x4 with KESKIN turret systems during the show.

Alcon brake products are fitted on 8 different vehicles on display at the show, including vehicles from world-class OEM’s based in UAE, Finland, North America, UK and Turkey. Of particular note are the Patria AMV 8x8 and 6x6 vehicles exhibited at IDEX that both have Alcon brakes fitted as standard. At IDEX, Alcon have representatives from their sales team in attendance who will be happy to arrange meetings, on request.

Making its official debut at the 2016 African Aerospace and Defence (AAD) show in Pretoria, the Denel Cheetah C-RAM/C-PGM missile has already passed a number of important development milestones. The product can be integrated into the Oerlikon Skynex, Skyranger, Skyshield or Skyguard gun-based air defence systems made by Rheinmetall.
