Campus Cockerill, CMI Defence’s Training Centre, is now operational and ready to welcome its first trainees. The 100,000 square metre facility is composed of high-tech classrooms, fully equipped training workshops, accommodations for 120 trainees and access to a military firing range. This facility, as well as the Agueris simulators and the digital composer designed and used for the training, are highlighted on CMI Defence booth in IDEX 2019 (Stand 12 B05).

NIMR Automotive LLC, a military vehicle manufacturer based in Abu Dhabi, UAE and a member of the Emirates Defence Industries Company (EDIC), launches its latest vehicle variant, the AJBAN 447A, during IDEX 2019. The AJBAN 447A Multi-Role Armoured Vehicleis designed for use in a wide range of specialist military roles, offering high levels of survivability, mobility and firepower.

SPYNEL-X and its V-LRF option are showcased at the IDEX or the first time. The recently-launched thermal sensor equipped with a visible channel and a laser range finder will be presented to decision-makers from within the defense industry, alongside key representatives from governments, armed forces and the key military personnel.

Following significant interest from the Middle East and Asia, particularly regarding their battle-winning SlingShot tactical communications system, Spectra Group (UK) Ltd will this year be exhibiting at the International Defence Exhibition and Conference, IDEX, for the first time.

Jankel has announced the achievement of ‘production ready’ status for their latest generation Hunter Tactical Intervention Vehicle (TIV) in preparation for the imminent manufacture of another major order from an undisclosed customer in the Asia Pacific region. The vehicles will be built at JLVM, Jankel’s Jordanian facility, a Joint Venture with KADDB. Jankel is exhibiting on stand number 05-C09.

Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) today signed strategic agreements with a number of specialised national defense companies to support the upcoming editions of the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) and the Naval Defence Exhibition (NAVDEX). Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, IDEX and NAVDEX 2019 will run at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 17 to 21 February, 2019.
