The Rabdan 6x6 is a smaller and lighter version in the Rabdan family. The vehicle has a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 22,500 kg, with a length of 7,0 m, a width of 2.9 m and a height of 2.46 m. It is a new generation, amphibious, modular wheeled armored vehicle with superior tactical and technical characteristics. The modular and highly protected body design of RABDAN 6x6 provides a multi-purpose platform that enables seamless integration of various types of mission equipment and weapon systems that meet the needs of modern armies in combat and peacekeeping operations.

Rabdan's maximum commonality and interchangeability amongst its variants reduce the logistic footprint for fleet owners. In addition, it features an open electronic architecture for the seamless integration of C4I and other futuristic systems.

The design of the vehicle consists of three main parts with the driver seated at the front left side of the hull with the engine on its right, a turret-mounted in the center of the hull, and a troop's compartment at the rear. Two escape roof hatches are also mounted at the rear of the hull. The Rabdan 6x6 can accommodate a total of 10 military personnel including the driver, commander, and eight full gear infantrymen.

The Rabdan 6x6 can be fitted with a wide range of weapon systems including a remotely operated weapon station armed with a machine gun up to 14.5 mm caliber or 40mm automatic grenade launcher. A medium caliber weapon station can be also integrated on the roof of the vehicle armed with automatic cannon up to 30mm caliber.

The Rabdan 6x6 is powered by a turbocharged Diesel engine developing 450 hp coupled to an automatic transmission. The vehicle has three axles with fully independent suspension with telescopic type shock absorber and helical spring. It can run at a maximum road speed of 105 km/h with a maximum cruising range of 700 km. As for the Rabdan 8x8, the vehicle is fully amphibious propelled in the water at a maximum speed of 8 km/h. The angle of approach and departure is 42°. It has the ability to climb a gradient of 60% and a side slope of 30%. It can also climb a vertical obstacle of 60 cm and cross a trench of 1.15 m. The vehicle is able to negotiate a water obstacle with a depth of 1.5 m without any preparation.
