The RBS 70 NG is fitted on Komodo 4x4 light armoured personnel carrier. The Giraffe 1X is fitted on another PT Pindad vehicle but Saab representatives explained that the radar is actually intended to be fitted on the Komodo as well.

According to Saab, the RBS 70 NG modular concept and state-of-the-art technology makes it a highly flexible, scalable and long term solution to evolving Ground Based Air Defence (GBAD) requirements. The NG sight has been specifically designed for a high degree of flexibility and modularity: in addition to the Man-Portable Air Defence System (MANPADS) configuration, the same NG sight unit can be used in remote-controlled or vehicle applications. The modular design of the NG sight allows for integration into an almost unlimited number of vehicle types and for network integration and remote control.

Giraffe 1X is a mobile, deployable or fixed asset for short-range surveillance and GBAD that provides forces with early warning and the ability to detect and classify more than 100 different targets – simultaneously. Even in high-clutter environments. The system can be delivered with surface surveillance as well as sense & warn add-ons and can be operated remotely or locally.
