The Czech Excalibur International unveils for the first time its UAV Cantas at Indodefence 2016
At Indodefence 2016, Jakarta, the Czech Excalibur International showcases its Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Cantas. This is the very firts time that the company unveiled this advanced multirole UAV that can achieve several military or civilan missions.

The new Cantas UAV is designed for complete vertical launching and landing so it can be used without using any kind of launcher. That is to say, and it's one of its main advantages, this aircraft device can be delpoyed almost without any space restriction. The vertial hovering mode is powered by two electric powe units and the jet engine. Second main advantages: Cantas UAV is designed with specific composite materials which make it a stealth UAV.

There are 3 versions of the aircraft. The Cantas A (Advanced), the Cantas E (Endurance) and the Cantas S (Speed) which can be used for border patrol or surveillance, battlefield suraillance, attack and training.

The portable ground control station provides fully automatic operational mode, mission planning, on-line replaning and virtual fence features. The UAV Cantas can fulfil its tasks with or without supervision of operator.
