SESP Jamming System

Wednesday, 20 October 2010, 23:27 PM

SESP worldwide leader for designing and manufacturing of jamming system.

Military and Police envoys face a serious terrorist risk in many countries, especially in hostile areas of the world, and SESP understands the necessity of providing fast mobilization of a dedicated vehicle for critical situation and missions.
SESP developed the JAMX system to provide the ultimate solution for saving lives which are threatened by roadside bombs (IEDs or RCIEDs). The latest state-of-the-art RF jamming technology coupled with sophisticated preparatory customization of the vehicle provides a complete turnkey solution to combat this threat.
The JAMX system is suitable for installation on any Military type SUV vehicle. The special design of the system ensures continuous effective jamming protection whilst in transit in all road conditions, plus all weather capability. Nothing will affect the safe operation of the JAM-X system

The JAMX system for Military Shelters covers continuously and simultaneously the full spectrum of RF communication frequencies from 20MHz to 3000MHz (33 separate frequency bands). The driver/operator may choose to leave certain communication links "open" when required.
The entire system is covertly installed inside an ambulance-type standard military shelter (M997). Careful design ensures that no parts of the system are left exposed, including all antennas, which are completely enclosed within the shelter.

This is a fully-independent jamming system, which can be installed on the standard HUMVEE military vehicle platform. The system is designed to enable rapid transfer/installation from one vehicle to another.
Shockproof and weatherproof, the JAMX system for Military Shelters works continuously while in transit in all weather and terrain conditions. JAMX is manufactured, assembled and installed to the highest standards of electronic and mechanical engineering to meet with Mil Spec standards.

Easy Rescue, wounded soldier evacuation system

Wednesday, 20 October 2010, 21:56 PM

Easy Rescue, a new innovative wounded soldier transfer system in the battlefield.

At ISDEF 2010, an Israeli Company presents a new innovative transfer system for wounded soldiers in the battlefield, "Easy Rescue". For consistent successful evacuation of injured or disabled personnel, deployed units require the appropriate tools and equipment. Put the BUDDY, a lightweight, easy-to-use alternative to conventional evac tools, in their packs and medical/evac kits. Being prepared for the immediate evacuation of injured or disabled personnel is a critical aspect of any mission. Whether on a designated rescue mission, or dealing with the unexpected, using the BUDDY in an evac or medical team’s pack can make all the difference between mission success and disaster.

When the job is to evacuate injured personnel, no matter where they are, the BUDDY does the job.
Stretchers and gurneys are still the best way to carry people who are unconscious or have back, spine or neck injuries. In the field this would require that the force size is large enough and appropriate access is available. Manufacturers have offered different ways of folding this heavy equipment. Yet once deployed, and loaded with personnel, lifting and evacuation out of deep ravines, narrow caves, steep and rocky footpaths, or high cliffs, will require additional resources. In short, field conditions may not be conducive to apply these conventional methods. The BUDDY however is suitable for the many types of injuries not requiring a stretcher. Simply unpack it, load the personnel, and go.

Allow only two evacuators to carry up to 160 kg
Unique Construction and Design
Made of durable lightweight fabric and sturdy plastic, the BUDDY was created by individuals with extensive experience in the civilian and military medical field. Field experience, first hand, in the frustration of not being able to get injured personnel to an evac unit fast enough, led to the creation of the BUDDY.

- Weight: < 2 lbs (900 gr)
- Size: 9 x 7 x 4 in (22 x 17 x 11 cm)
- Hands-free Operation

TRM - Tactical Throwable Robot

Tuesday, 19 October 2010, 22:45 PM

The Polish Defense Industry at ISDEF 2010 with the new TRM- Tactical Throwable Robot.

At ISDEF 2010, PIAP the Polish Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements presents his new product, the TRM - Tactical Throwable Robot. TRM is a small, robotic device designed for delivering support in applications aiding in anti-terrorist operations. The TRM has been created in response to the threats experienced during the area reconnaissance carried out by special forces units before engaging into action.

The TRM is composed of a pipe-shaped body which houeses a camera and a microphone. The drive capability is supplied by two elastic, rubber wheels which are located on each side of the robot. The TRM can be thrown into a structure or into the area of operation into open ground from a significant distance and steered by a remote control in order to perform an inspection of the area. The TRM construction is designed to withstand impact from a high altitude.

The TRM may be equipped with additional supporting devices such as : flash, bang or explosive charges as well as additional light sources for the camera. This allow for the TRM's use in neutralizing of explosive charges by pyrotechnical / sapper units or creating of a distraction and panic among the enemy attackers. The TRM may also be used by firefighters in order to search victims of fires in smoke-filled areas.

Modular vehicle barrier MVB

Tuesday, 19 October 2010, 22:45 PM

Mifram Israeli Company presents his new mobile modular barrier against suicide vehicles.

The MVB is a physical, light-weight barrier & therefore fully portable. Its unique design enables transferring the horizontal momentum of a ramming vehicle upwards or downwards until fully stopping its movement. Selected and deployed by the U.S. Army, USMC, Athens Olympics, Japanese Army, Cruise liners & other Special Forces world wide. At ISDEF 2010, MVB present his new mobile barrier against suicide vehicles.

The advantages of this barrier are:
- Cost effective, Non Lethal solution. Quick assembly, no tools needed.
- High impact capabilities.
- Flexible length, consisting of individual units which fit together to correspond to varying vehicle and road sizes.
- Transportable by plane, helicopter, small pick-up truck, station wagon, boat and even manually in special carrying cases.
- Suitable for sandy, rocky, rough terrain, gravel & asphalt.
- Foldable for easy and efficient storage.

Thousands of units have been deployed, tested and operated in "hot" zones and in the civilian market since 2003 with zero maintenance and no breakdowns.
- Quick assembly: The barrier consists of elements which are light to carry. Any adult can assemble this physical barrier in minutes without using assembly tools, to create a block against immediate threats of ramming vehicles in unknown locations.
- High impact: Its unique design has high impact capabilities that transfer the vehicle's horizontal momentum vertically to the extent of stopping the vehicle within a relatively short range.
- Flexible length: Independent separate units can be composed into any length desired, blocking any size of vehicle route.
- Wheel protection: The unique process (patented) of momentum transfer is efficient for vehicles regardless of their wheel protection.
- Easy storage: Foldable units that can be easily stored, saving space and enabling easy access for future use.
