Worldwide Aeros Corp. (Aeros), a leading FAA-certified lighter-than-air (LTA) manufacturer and technology innovator, announced today the company has received multiple orders for a new low-cost and rapidly deployable tactical aerostat system to be used by DOD operators.
Aeros designs and manufacturers products based on the parameters for specific mission requirements such as: altitude, wind speed and operating temperature.

Aeros’ newest LTA solution, the ‘Sky Crow’ aerostat system is cost-effective, providing a lower barrier to aerial platform ownership, can be set up and operated as an airborne asset quickly with less personnel, and features mission-specific payload integration.

Aeros is currently in production on a substantial number of orders for the aerostat system following recent procurement to support DOD operations. Aeros rapidly designed, built, and tested the new aerostat system to meet client objectives, and trained operators for OCONUS mission requirements.

Developed for aerial duration over target areas and to respond to numerous mission scenarios, each ‘Sky Crow’ aerostat will support efforts to keep soldiers safe by mitigating movement and operational planning by adversaries. As with each of Aeros’ aerostat solutions the ‘Sky Crow’ tactical aerostat was designed and manufactured based on specific mission requirements, such as altitude, wind speed, and operating temperature.

“Aeros is proud to have fulfilled our client’s rapid readiness requirements while providing a tactical solution that incorporates never-before-seen aerostat advances for military operators,” explains Mario Pantuso, Aeros’ Sr. Military Programs manager. “This requirement went from cradle to OCONUS operations in rapid time. Creative design and supply chain management was successfully demonstrated by the Aeros Engineering team!”
