Second Minister for Defence Mr Chan Chun Sing visited Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) troops training in an artillery exercise, codenamed Thunder Warrior, at the Waiouru Training Area in New Zealand today. Among the new equipment is a state-of-the-art laser light, which will be provided to all infantry soldiers, which fits onto the SA80 rifle to give more accurate firing and can illuminate targets from up to 800m away.
