AutoKrAZ could deliver Streit Group Spartan and Cougar 4x4 armoured vehicles to Ukraine Army.
The Ukrainian Defense Company AutoKrAZ, July 22, 2014, has presented Spartan and Cougar 4x4 armoured vehicles produced locally in partnership with Streit Group, a world leader in the development and manufacturing of security and military vehicles with headquarter based in United Arab Emirates.
     
     
The Ukrainian vehicles Spartan and Cougar are branded with KRAZ logo at the front of the vehicles. According to the Russian website "BMPD", some of these vehicles were delivered to the Ukrainian armed forces.

The general director of AutoKrAZ, Mister Roman Cherniak, has confirmed that some of these vehicles will be quickly deployed to combat area in the next few days. The Company plans to start the delivery of these vehicles to the Ukrainian armed forces.

The Spartan is a 4x4 LAV (Light Armoured Vehicle) designed and manufactured by the Company Streit Group. The vehicle is based on the FORD F550 with fully re-designed and chassis-mounted body by Streit design and development.

The hull of the Spartan is of all-welded steel armour construction that provides a protection for the crew against 5.56 x 45 assault rifle, sniper rifle 7.62 x 51 and shell splinters. To increase the safety, the roof provides the same level of protection as the sidewall to protect in urban environments.
     
     
The Cougar 4x4 is a light armoured vehicle personnel carrier designed and manufactured by the Defence Company Streit Group. The Cougar is based on a Toyota chassis adapted to be used as all-terrain military vehicle. The Cougar is an excellent fighting platform with turret capabilities and options for weapon stations. It is ideally suited to returning fire in a convoy escort assault scenario. Cougar is an ideal APC that handles well on rough terrains and facilitates the users with ultimate maneuverability on and off-road.

The Streit Group 4x4 Cougar can be equipped with various types of weapon stations and turrets armed 7.62mm or 12.7mm machine guns or a 40mm automatic grenade launcher.

The Cougar has a steel hull with a large windscreen at the front, two side doors with bulletproof windows which provide good visibility under ballistic protection. The hull provides a protection for the crew CEN Level BR6 (7.62x51 mm NATO caliber at a range of 10 m).
