The tankmen are going to fire assigned sabots from the guns of modern T-72B3 tanks as well as from large-caliber anti-aircraft submachine guns at appearing and moving targets, which will imitate a tank in motion, an anti-tank grenade launcher crew and the RCL at a distance of 300 to 2,000 meters. The newest tank-mounted ‘Sosna-U’ fire control system helps to track down the targets and improved optical channels make it possible to follow tank targets at distances of up to 5,000 meters.

The combat training of motorized rifle formations has been organized in a way to cover all the major issues related to delivering combat by tank units on the offensive and in defense at night and in daytime.
