Army Recognition sponsors French Firefighters for the World Firefighter Combat Challenge in U.S.
Army Recognition is proud to announce that it will sponsor a French firefighter team, the TFA team - Strasbourg, for the World Firefighter Combat Challenge which takes place in Montgomery, Alabama USA between 24 and 29 October. Friday, June 17, 2016, during the Defense Exhibition Eurosatory 2016 in Paris (France), Alain Servaes, CEO of Army Recognition gave a cheque of 5,000 Euro to firefighters of the TFA team from the city of Strasbourg.
     
Army Recognition is proud to announce that it will sponsor a French firefighter team, the TFA team - Strasbourg, for the World Firefighter Combat Challenge which takes place in Montgomery, Alabama USA between 24 and 29 October. Friday, June 17, 2016, during the Defense Exhibition Eurosatory 2016 in Paris (France), Alain Servaes, CEO of Army Recognition gave a cheque of 5,000 Euro to firefighters of the TFA team from the city of Strasbourg. Alain Servaes, CEO of Army Recognition gave a cheque of 5,000 Euro to firefighters of the TFA team from the city of Strasbourg to sponsor the team for the World Firefighter Combat Challenge in United States.
     
The sponsorship consists in providing video services to the TFA team Strasbourg and covering some of the logistic costs (travel and participation) at the World Firefighter Combat Challenge.

Nowadays security has become a major concern in our society so we want to give our support to men and women who risk their life and dedicate it to our security. The Firefighter Combat Challenge and the firefighters in general also represents values like competitiveness, outperformance and teamwork. Values that we share in our company" said Alain Servaes, CEO of Army Recognition.

The TFA Team Strasbourg is based in Strasbourg, France. All members of the team are professional firefighters. They already participated in several International Firefighter Combat Challenge competitions (including in France, Germany, UAE). They now want to participate to the World's most important FCC competition. The team also organizes the European Firefighter Combat Challenge 2016 in Strasbourg on September 3-4.

About the Firefighter Combat Challenge

The FCC is a sport competition reserved to professional firefighters. Individual competitors or teams must complete a total of five events consecutively, that simulates the tasks of a firefighter during an intervention. (Stair Climb with High Rise Pack, Hose Hoist, Forcible Entry, Hose Advance and Victim Rescue). Competitors must wear a firefighter uniform (helmet, coat, pants with liners, boots, gloves, and a breathing apparatus) during the entire duration of competition. The Challenge is timed from the start of the first event to the end of the fifth event.
