Greece and Poland cooperate on defence NATO standardization
Greece and Poland cooperate on military standardization according to NATO requirements. Between 31 May and 3 June 2016, a Polish delegation visited Athens to take part in discussions on the issue.

Greece took part in the meetings with officials from the Armed Forces General Staff and Poland with members from the Centre of Standardization, Codification and Quality Control (WCSJiK), and from the Military Polytechnic School in Warsaw.

The topics discussed were:

  • The bilateral initiative to develop Strategic Training in NATO standardization for the sake of the Alliance.
  • The bilateral cooperation for the implementation of specific training programmes on NATO standardization.
  • The collaboration for the development of common technical specifications for defence equipment manufacturing, within the commonly accepted certification standards.
