Semey Engineering JSC, the company of the defense sector of the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan presents a full range of new combat and armoured vehicles at KADEX 2014, the International Exhibition of weapons systems and Military equipment in Astana (Kazakhstan).

The Company performs the overhaul and modernization of armament of armored force vehicles and equipment: T-72 tanks; 2 SZM Acacia self-propelled artillery weapons; armored infantry vehicles BMP-1, BMP-2, and their modifications; armored motor cars BTR-60, BTR-70, BTR-80, and their modifications, the overhaul of KAMAZ-7403, UTD-20, B-46, B-59, B-84 engines.

The main potential consumers of the enterprise are the Ministry of Defence, the National Security Committee, the Republican Guard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In the scope of the participation in the KADEX 2014 exhibition, Semey Engineering JSC using the technological and infrastructural facilities of the exhibition site to demonstrate its new range of vehicle during a live demonstration.

At KADEX 2014, present its latest technologies and innovation of defense products, including the development works for the re-equipment and modernization of armored vehicles:

• armored repair industrial tractor BRT-72 (based on T-72);

     

• armored fire engine BMP (based onT-72);

     
• front line transport vehicle TMPK (based on BMP-1 );
     
• modernized armored investigating and scouting vehicle BRDM-2 SI;
     
• modernized BTR-70 SI or BTR-70 KZ;
     
• 2B9 mortar mounted on BMP-1 tracked armoured infantry fighting vehicle
