First attack of the French Air Forces in Libya against an unspecified military vehicle.
 
 
French fighter jets deployed over Libya fired at a military vehicle on Saturday, the country's first strike against Moammar Gadhafi's military forces who earlier attacked the rebel stronghold of Benghazi.
     

The first firing of the French air forces in Libya aimed at a “unspecified vehicle”, announced the `French staff HQ of the armies.

The international community closed ranks against Colonel Gaddafi in Paris on Saturday. The USA, Europe and the Arab League joined hands in condemning his attacks on civilians, and promised to enforce the UN Security council’s resolution against Gaddafi.

The first French strike started in Libya, shortly after the announcement by Nicolas Sarkozy of the beginning of an military intervention.
