The French Minister for the Foreign affairs, Alain Juppe, declared this morning that he had not managed to convince his partners of the need for a military intervention in Libya.

Germany and Russia were opposed to any mention of this type, announced the same source. The Foreign Ministers of G8 (the USA, Canada, Germany, Japan, Great Britain, France, Italy and Russia) have been brought together in Paris for Monday for a top meeting on the Libyan crisis and the situation in Japan.

The French Minister for the Foreign affairs, Alain Juppe, declared this morning that he had not managed to convince his partners of the need for a military intervention in Libya.
