Russian MOD reveals images showing the turrent of each new armored vehicle projects
Russian Ministry of Defence has officialy revealed for the first time images showing the brand new combat vehicles that will be shown for the Victory Day military parade on the Red Square in Moscow, May 9, 2015. For the first time we can see the vehicles turrets without cover. The upcoming parade in Moscow will be the largest in history. Many new tanks and armoured vehicles will be unveiled to the public for the first time.

New Russian-made main battle tank T-14 Armata
     
The Victory day parade on 9 may 2015 at the red square, the Russian capital is the largest: it will take part 194 units of armored vehicles, 150 aircraft and helicopters, 14 thousand military. For comparison: in the Victory Parade this year was attended by about 11 thousand people, 151 unit of equipment and 69 aircraft.

Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said over 78,500 military servicemen and almost 2,000 pieces of military hardware will participate in Victory Day parades in Russia’s 28 cities.

In exclusivity, Army Recognitrion editorial team gives all technical details of the military vehicles that will participate in the parade.

The Defense Ministry plans to involve over 78,500 troops in military parades across the country, about 1,900 pieces of military hardware and equipment, 238 aircraft and 51 battle ships, the defense minister said.

The T-14 Armata is the latest generation of Russian-made MBT (Main Battle Tank) developed and designed by the Russian Company Uralvagonzavod. The first deliveries of the tank to the Russian Armed Forces are scheduled for 2015. A total of 2,300 MBTs are expected to be supplied by 2020.

The new unmanned remote turret would of the T-14 Armata be equipped with new generation of 125mm smoothbore gun with an automatic loader and 32 rounds ready to use. The first scale model of the Armata unveiled in July 2012 showed that the vehicle has a secondary weapon that could be a 57mm grenade launcher mounted on the left of the turret, and a machine gun 12.7 mm mounted on the right side.

The T-14 Armata would be composed of two main parts, the chassis with three crew members and an unmanned remote controlled turret weapons station.

The BTR Kurganets-25 is the new generation of Russian-made tracked armoured vehicle personnel carrier designed and developed by the Russian Defense Company Kurgan Machine-Building Plant.

This version seems to be equipped with a small turret armed with one 12.7mm or 7,62mm machine gun.

The BTR Kurganets-25 will use the common chassis of the Kurganets tracked vehicle platform. The Kurganets-25 will have modular armor that can be upgraded for specific threats. Each side of the hull is also protected with passive armour protection.

The BMP Kurganets-25 is the new generation of Russian-made tracked armoured infantry fighting vehicle designed and developed by the Russian Defense Company Kurgan Machine-Building Plant.

The BMP Kurganets-25 is equipped with an electrically powered two-man turret mounted in the centre of the hull. The turret is armed with 2A42 30mm automatic cannon. A 7.62mm coaxial PKT machine gun is mounted to the right side of the main armament. Two launchers of anti-tank guided missile Kornet-EM are mounted on each side of the turret. The Kurganets-25 can engage all mobile or static targets by day and night at a maximum range of 5,500m.

The BMP Armata T-15 is a new generation of Armoured Infantry Fighting Vehicle based on the universal platform Armata.

The BMP Armata is fitted with a turret armed with a 30mm 2A42 automatic cannon and four Kornet-EM anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM). The T-15 features a high degree of commonality with the T-14 main battle tank, the engine is located in the frontal compartment, can be operated by a crew of two-man and carries an infantry squad in the rear compartment.

The 2S35 Koalitsiya-SV is a new generation of Russian-made self-propelled tracked howitzer based on the 2S19 chassis fitted with a new turret. Some few months ago Russia has unveiled a twin-barreled self-propelled howitzer under the name of 2S35, but the project was cancelled.

The 2S35 Koalitsiya-SV tracked self-propelled howitzer could be equipped with the new 2A88 cannon 152mm which is under development. During travelling, the cannon is held in position by a travelling lock mounted on the glacis plate. To increase its self-protection, a remote weapon station armed with a 12.7mm Kord machine is mounted on the top of the turret. Three smoke grenade dischargers are mounted either side at the front of the turret. The turret is also equipped with an automatic loading system. The S2S35 is able to fire a new generation of 9K25, the 152 mm Krasnopol laser-guided projectile.

The Boomerang or Bumerang is a new development of 8x8 armoured vehicle personnel carrier launched by the Russian defense industry to replace the old BTR family used by the Russian armed forces. During the International exhibition of arms and military equipment RAE 2013 in Nizhny Tagil, the project of the vehicle was showed only for the Prime Minister of Russia.

Boomerang could be fitted with a remotely controlled weapon station armed with one 2A42 30mm automatic cannon. A 7.62mm coaxial machine gun is mounted on the right of the main armament. On each side of the turret, there is two launchers for anti-tank guided missiles KORNET-EM
