According Indonesian sources, the Leopard 2A4 for Indonesia will be fitted with an urban warfare upgrade package under the name of Leopard Revolution. The Leopard 2A4 is a German-made main battle tank designed and manufactured by the Company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, the successor of the main battle tank Leopard 1.

The German Defense Company Rheinmetall has developed the MBT Revolution, which is a modular upgrade for modern main battle tanks such as the Leopard 2.

The MBT Revolution of Rheinmetall offers a comprehensive upgrade package for main battle tanks – a modular concept capable of meeting the current operational needs of user nations as well as assuring adequate future growth potential.

The MBT Revolution package includes additional armor modules (AMAP armor from IBD Deisenroth and Rheinmetall Chempro), optical and fire control systems (Rheinmetall's SEOSS), the improved L55 gun system, active protection systems (such as ROSY and ADS), a remote weapon station, a battlefield management system and situational awareness systems (such as Rheinmetall's SAS).
