At Milipol Paris 2015, Sentinel, a subsidiary of Groupe Marck, unveils an innovative "NOLAM" cut-resistant technology which meets the growing needs of protective clothing for regional police forces.

A true revolution, this technology is lightweight, breathable, soft and comfortable, while achieving a maximum level of protection against laceration (similar to Level 5 of standard EN 388). It consists of hybrid fibres that are treated to avoid any irritation and discomfort on contact with the skin. It can be worn for several hours in a row. "NOLAM" can be used with a self-standing sleeve or integrated onto the forearms of a long sleeve poloshirt. It therefore ensures the protection of the bodypart most exposed to attacks, as one instinctively uses forearms to protect one's face and vital organs. "NOLAM" is the new technology of safety equipment to protect against sharp-edged weapons.
