"Acts of terror in Paris have piqued a higher Interest in Rosoboronexport's exposition from a number of European countries." On the sidelines of the exhibition we expect to hold talks with a whole raft of potential customers, including those from Europe,” he was quoted as saying by TASS.

According to Valery Varlamov, anti-terror gear represents 4 % in the company's overall portfolio.

"The share of anti-terror equipment in Rosoboronexport's overall portfolio accounts for 4%. If we look back at the company's exports 10 years ago, it also stood at 4%. However this share has increased in terms of value," he said.

As previously reported by advisor to the Chief Executive Officer at Rosoboronexport Mikhail Zavaliy, the company's current scope of supply is worth around USD 13 billion. So, anti-terror gear fetches around USD 520 million.

Valery Varlamov also said that the acts of terror had compelled the company to rework its program at the exhibition, since a host of exhibitors had called off their participation.

Please be reminded that at Milipol 2015 Rosoboronexport is demonstrating standards projects for integrated security of urban locations and critical facilities offering upwards of 200 items of purpose-built gear and arms. Specifically, Russian highly secure IT-solutions, special-purpose fire arms and assault weapons for counter-terror teams, custom-built multi-role vehicles, helicopters, and high-speed patrol boats are proposed as part of integrated security systems. The Russian exposition is staged and hosted by Rostec.
