Orbital ATK established a subsidiary in Saudi Arabia
Orbital ATK, a major aerospace and defence technology firm, announced on 12 November the establishment of a subsidiary in Saudi Arabia. The jointly-owned company will be in partnership with local Saudi industry. The aim is to strengthen Orbital ATK’s existing business network in the country and assist Saudi Arabia in its self-sufficiency objectives in national security, defence and training.

Mike Kahn, Orbital ATK Defense Systems Group’s President, mentioned that the new company reflects their “long-term commitment to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a strong ally of the United States”.

Salman Al Malik, the CEO of the Alliant Techsystems Operations Ltd, said: “We want to create a culture of excellence; a commitment to the highest standards in every aspect of the way we do business”.

Amer Kayani, Chairman of the Board of Managers of the new company, said ”Saudi Arabia is strategically important to Orbital ATK. Our team in the Kingdom is committed to working with the Saudi Government and other local partners to develop business opportunities that sustain long-term jobs for Saudi nationals in the defense and security sectors.”
