Thailand DTI conducts dynamic test on D11A guided rocket


Thailand's Defense Technology Institute has successfully conducted a dynamic test-firing of a domestic prototype of D11A 114mm guided rocket at the Artillery Firing Range, Artillery Center, located at Fort Phaholyothin (Phahonyothin), Lopburi Province, in September 2019.

Defense Technology Institute of Thailand fired a guided rocket of 114 mm caliber. The test was conducted in the framework of the multi-barrel missile research and development project D11A at Khao Pulon Field Shooting Center, Lop Buri Province.

The fire test of this 114 mm guided rocket aimed at checking the dynamic section in order to use the results report for the accurate calibration of the prototype rocket's inertial measurement equipment. This test was successful, with satisfactory control of the rocket's flight posture. It is considered as another milestone in research and development of the guided rocket.
