Russian Navy nuclear-powered submarine Omsk launches cruise missile Russia 1' Defense Breaking News

On Monday September 16, 2019, Russian Ministry of Defence has released a video showing the nuclear-powered submarine cruiser Omsk in missile drills in the Pacific Ocean. During the exercise the submarine successfully eliminated a simulated target with a cruise missile. The Omsk submarine is armed with 3M45 (P-700) Granit anti-ship cruise missiles, which are designed to destroy aircraft carrier strike formations.
