The United States provided earlier this month the Lebanese Army with additional aircraft to help it defeat militant groups and announced an additional $103.8 million in humanitarian aid to assist Lebanon with the refugee crisis. France has also contributed 7 million euros to the International Support Group for Lebanon Fund, designed to help the country deal with the impact of the Syrian conflict.
