Further to that he mentioned that UVZ had completed the full cycle of required testing of the latest export version of the tank. The T-90MS was first presented at the Russian Export defence exhibition, in September 2011.

The tank is heavier by 1.5 tons compared to its predecessor, with a total weight of 48 tons, which is significantly lower than any other tank in the western inventory.

It features a 125mm 2A46M-5 gun, with 22 rounds ready to be fired through its automatic feeding system. Another 18 rounds are carried inside the tank in a special compartment, which reduces the risk of explosion and increases the survivability of the crew.

Further to the co-axial 7.62mm machine gun, there’s a remotely controlled weapon station on top of the turret, for use by the commander. It features a panoramic sight and can fire at angles ranging from -10o up to +45o and 316o at the vertical and horizontal axis respectively.
