All competitors at Warrior Competition 2016 show high level of physical training at day events.
During five days, the KASOTC, King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center hosts the most important event for the Special Forces soldiers, the "Warrior Competition 2016". A total 27 teams from 11 countries from all over the world compete to be the best of the best.

The KASOTC is a state-of-the-art Special Operations Forces (SOF) training center with the capability to provide SOF units an environment to enhance their operational capabilities. It includes multiple indoor and outdoor shooting ranges; bays for explosive, mechanical, and ballistic breaching; a fully instrumented urban operations facility; a 5-story live fire “shoot house”; vehicle mock-ups; a driver’s range; classroom facilities; and an Airbus A300 aircraft on an airport tarmac complete with a control tower.

For the first time, Army Recognition, the International Online Defense and Security magazine covers the Warrior Competition with daily news and video about all the activities. Every day, there is two or three events where the competitors show their ability to perform different types of combat missions which requires a high level of physical fitness and the use of individual weapons such as assault rifle, sniper rifle and automatic pistol with a high level of accuracy.

The Annual Warrior Competition is designed to build team spirit among contestants partnered against terrorism. The competition also facilitates sharing of best-practices, technology, and hardware; through gear and weapons display and live demonstrations by international retailers.

For the Day 4, the two main events were the "The Punisher" and "Soul Crusher".

The "Punisher" event is based on two main actions. During the first part of this exercise, two members of the team armed with sniper rifle make a run to the top of a hill to take a firing position an try to hit three targets at a distance of around 800m.

Second part of the team makes an assault on a full-scale A300 aircraft model to engage 10 threat targets and then make a search to find a box with sensitive information.

The second event of the day is the "Soul Crusher" which consists of a run of 2.5 km that began with the rise of a dirt road with a slope of around 50% followed by an obstacle course.
Directly after these two physical challenges, four members of the team must hit targets with assault rifle in a minimum time.
