IAG company launches its new TLC200 RWS Remote Weapon Station


The UAE-based Company International Armored Group (IAG) launches its new Remote Weapon Station (RWS) TLC200 that can be easily integrated into commercial Pickup or armored vehicles. According to information from IAG, this turret can be mounted on Toyota Land Cruiser, Chevrolet Suburban, Sentinel TRV, and ARV as well as its full range of military and security armored vehicles.

The IAG (International Armored Group) RWS (Remote Weapon Station) can be mounted inside of a commercial vehicle and erected on the roof in firing position. In the travel position, the RWS can be stored inside the vehicle. The operator of the machine gun sits on the passenger seat can use a simple control box with a joystick system and LCD display screen. Such equipment is used on combat or security vehicles allowing the operator to remain in the relative protection of the vehicle.

The IAG Remote Weapon Station (RWS) features advanced wireless remote control functions, auto-target detecting and tracking, computer-based fire control actions, shoot on-the-move, day and night vision, ballistic protection and laser range finder for accurate ballistics.

The IAG TLC200 Remote Weapon Station is capable of mounting multiple weapons including 7.62mm or 12.7mm machine gun as well as a 40mm automatic grenade launcher. The turret is also protected BR6 against the firing of small arms 7.62x51 mm FJ/PB/SC NATO 7 and in option Level B7 against 7.62x51 mm FJ/PB/HC1 NATO AP ammunition.

The IAG TLC200 has a traverse of 360° with an elevation angle from +60° to -30°. The turret fitted with a 7.62 machine gun has a weight of 90 kg without ammunition and armor with a height of 55 cm in a basic configuration.

The sighting equipment includes one electro-optic system with a 30x optical zoom and day/night camera. The turret can be also fitted with a laser rangefinder with a maximum range of 5,500 m. In option, the RWS can be equipped with an automatic target tracking system able to track 5 targets with both cameras with an auto-detect mode.
